Sunday Mornings: Christian Education
Christian education is offered for all ages at 9:00 am. Adults discuss and reflect theologically on a variety of topics to strengthen our relationships with God and one another. We’re always looking for ways we can discern God’s presence in our daily lives.
Our youth participate in service projects, hear Bible stories and are involved in other activities, including providing hospitality after church and the fair trade coffee ministry. Past yearly themes have included “Loving Our Neighbors” and “The Stewardship of Creation”. Class members perform songs and skits periodically at the 10:00 service and participate in our annual Christmas pageant.
Sunday Evenings: Education for Ministry
Education for Ministry (EFM) is a four-year program of study that gives adults an opportunity to reflect theologically on Scripture, tradition and life experience to discern where and how God is calling them to serve in the church and in the world. EFM meets from 6-9 September through May.
