The Rev. Ann Barker at lectern Communion Communion
At St. John's, we gather in Christ's name to praise and thank God for all the blessings we have received from God's hands, especially God's love in Jesus Christ. We are strengthened and renewed by hearing the good news proclaimed and by receiving Holy Communion. We leave worship to love and serve the Lord in the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday Services

Sunday
8:00 am

Holy Eucharist using Rite I, preserves the more traditional "Elizabethan" English. This service is spoken.

Sunday
10:00 am

Holy Eucharist, Rite II, uses contemporary wording. Hymns and service music are led by our choir. In the summer, our “open mic” offertory gives parishioners an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Nursery care is provided for the 10:00 service. Children's Chapel is offered each Sunday during the first part of the service for children through third grade. They leave the service after the opening hymn and return after the sermon. Children are also welcome to stay through the entire service with their parents.

The 10:00 service is followed by a coffee hour in the Parish Hall. This is a time of fellowship and welcome for visitors and newcomers to the church, with coffee, juice, and light refreshments.
